Outreach is a simple concept. It is about engaging your friends, neighbours and work colleagues in your Church social and leisure activities, inviting them to join your Connect group - and just being a good witness of your faith. It's not a 'door to door' vision - it's just about opening up the concept of Church to people that you already know, people that you enjoy spending time with, people that would love the opportunity to be a part of Connect.
Having non-Christians within your Connect Group provides for lively discussions - and vibrant journeys of discovery. It gives you a chance to talk about your faith - to show the diversity and enrichment that it provides within your life.
Jesus spent his life on earth connecting with people. His love for mankind must be demonstrated by every one us, by encouraging and welcoming anyone who would like to join us - whether for social and leisure activities, for prayer and healing or simply to learn more about the Church by attending the Alpha Course.
